This piece was created for Burberry's Festive campaign, celebrating the 2012 festive season.
I took the initial matte painting and added various enhancements. This included light fills in streets to help with distance and separation, sunset rays and pick-up lights that helped to bed in elements like Nelson's Column and St. Paul's cathedral. With a warm grade the scene was ready for animation.
Floating balloons holding gifts, a rotating London Eye, waving flags, smoking chimneys and flocks of birds were added to bring the scene to life.
